Kaleb Johnson got Iowa on the board with a 44-yard score in the 3rd quarter against Nebraska. The score gave Johnson his 6th of the season.
The Hawkeye offense had been virtually non-existent to that point. In a 24-0 hole, Johnson broke away and made a couple of nice moves before finding the end zone. Johnson has accounted for 96 of the Hawkeyes’ 152 total yards of offense.

Coming into Week 13, Johnson had 126 carries for 653 yards and 5 TDs. For an offense that has largely struggled in 2022, Johnson has been one of the few bright spots.
At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Hawkeyes remained in a 24-7 hole. The Hawkeyes have defeated the Huskers in 7 consecutive seasons, a streak that is in jeopardy.
