Kansas City Chiefs to announce roster move involving former Michigan DE Frank Clark, per report

Former Michigan defensive end Frank Clark is expected to be released by the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, a move that will end a 4-year stint in Kansas City.
Clark, who will soon enter his 9th year in the NFL, reportedly struggled to find common ground with the Chiefs in signing a new deal. He is now expected to suit up for another team in 2023, becoming a free agent.

The 2-time Super Bowl-winning pass rusher was drafted in 2015 by the Seattle Seahawks after playing at Michigan from 2011-2014. Clark leaves the Chiefs boasting the 3rd most sacks in NFL postseason history and, though his play on the field did not earn him a new deal, is still one of the better pass rushers in the NFL.
The Chiefs seem to be working to save cap space after winning their 2nd title in the past few years, having chosen not to franchise tag LT Orlando Brown earlier Monday afternoon.
