According to various reports, Kanye West’s private school in California will be closed for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year, which includes its basketball season.
Donda Academy, a K-12 prep school founded by West this year, will not be in session the rest of the school year amid West’s recent antisemitic comments.
Donda Academy’s boys’ basketball team, the Donda Doves, were expected to attend prestigious basketball tournaments this season. But now they are no longer on the agenda.
The Spalding Hoophall Classic, the City of Palms are just a few of the events that will not include Donda Academy. As well as, Play by Play Classics, another top showcase basketball tournament, played in Kentucky dropped the Academy on Tuesday.

The prestigious academy cost a pretty penny to attend. At $15k a year, per student and uniforms designed by Balenciaga, well let’s say some parent’s wont be happy about this one.
As West’s products and partnerships crumble, more and more companies are understanding the value of social media, including actions online and not taking them lightly.
