Kaytron Allen has found the end zone, scoring the first touchdown of the afternoon between Penn State and Illinois. While the Nittany Lions had a couple of early field goals, it took 4 drives before Allen found the end zone for Penn State.

The score came on a 1st-and-goal situation from the 4-yard line. While the Illini defense has forced 2 field goals, Penn State is working to wear Illinois down offensively. Allen’s score capped what was a 12-play, 57-yard drive covering more than 5 minutes.

Drew Allar is making his first road start, and the experience has yielded a couple of misses for the quarterback during the first half. Overall, he is settling in and Penn State appears to have control of the game heading into the heart of the second quarter.

Coverage of the game can be seen on FOX.
