Penn State is trying to get the second half rolling after taking a 17-3 lead into halftime against Villanova.

Though Sean Clifford had 2 passing touchdowns in the first half, there are still some things to clean up for the Nittany Lions. They were able to avoid any miscues on their first drive out of the locker room.

The start of the play was produced by Clifford as he scrambled out of the pocket toward the right sideline. He made sure to stay behind the line of scrimmage with KeAndre Lambert-Smith finally breaking open near the sideline.

Clifford completed the short throw and Lambert-Smith did the rest, knifing his way through the defense and going all the way for an 83-yard score. So far, it is Lambert-Smith’s only catch of the game, but he made the most of it.
