Kenneth Walker III earns prestigious midseason honor from NFL

Kenneth Walker III has had an impressive rookie season for the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie out of Michigan State was recently selected as the Midseason Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Walker is 2nd amongst rookie RBs with 570 rushing yards. The rookie took over the starting role in Seattle after Rashaad Penny suffered a season-ending injury. Walker has also been a factor in the passing game, catching 12 passes for 48 yards in 2022.

In 2021, Walker III received the Doak Walker and Walter Camp Player of the Year Awards after a fantastic season for the Spartans. Walker III finished 2nd in the nation in rushing yards in 2021, ending with 1,636 yards and 18 TDs.

The Seattle Seahawks face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network.
