Kenneth Walker III showed up to Lumen Field wearing a shirt that features himself as the “Michigan King.” That’s fairly accurate considering his accomplishments during his season in East Lansing.
In his lone season at Michigan State last year, Walker rushed for 1,636 yards and 18 touchdowns on 263 carries while adding 13 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. He was named a unanimous All-American, the Doak Walker Award winner, and the Walter Camp Award winner last season after transferring from Wake Forest.
In the 37-33 home win over Michigan last season, Walker rushed for 197 yards and 5 touchdowns on 23 carries. That’s likely where the statement sweatshirt stems from with Walker forever 1-0 against the in-state rival of the Spartans.

Walker is set to record the first start of his NFL career for the Seattle Seahawks in the Week 6 home game versus an NFC West division foe in the Arizona Cardinals. Rashaad Penny suffered a broken fibula in the Week 5 32-29 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
In 4 games this season for Seattle, Walker has rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.
