Kevin Warren is at the podium to kickoff Big Ten Media Days Tuesday morning. During his opening remarks and Q&A session, Warren addressed everything from the USC and UCLA additions to the idea of expanding the College Football Playoff.
When it comes to the CFP, Warren reaffirmed that the conference is “100% supportive” of expansion. However, he went on to explain that he wants to ask the right questions and settle on the right number.
Warren is also optimistic for the upcoming talks in part because of some of the new pieces of leadership in place, including new Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark. In the end, Warren remains confident that CFP expansion will be figured out.

“I’m excited we have meetings coming up to discuss these issues…what is the right number? We’ll figure it out. I’m confident we’ll get the Playoff resolved. We need to take a holistic view and make sure we protect some of the critical bowl relationships.” – Kevin Warren
