Kevin Willard, Maryland hoops HC, praises PG Jahmir Young: ‘He loves to compete’

Kevin Willard sang the praises of Charlotte point guard transfer Jahmir Young Monday evening. The talented point guard has been a massive piece for the Terrapins this season, averaging over 16 points per game.
Willard and the Terrapins have won 5 of their last 6 games, losing only to Michigan State last Tuesday. On Monday, Willard joined Big Ten Network to speak on Young’s contributions to Maryland’s recent success.

Maryland is currently projected to be a 7-seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, and has quite the fight ahead of them in the race for a top seed in the B1G.
The Terps face off against Purdue this Thursday in College Park.
