Kevin Wilson wants a ring.
Ohio State’s offensive coordinator has gotten close several times, but to no avail. His teams just can’t seem to get over the hump. For him, that changes this year.
“Five times I’ve been in that game. I’m still looking for that ring,” Wilson said via Griffin Strom of 11 Warriors. “Five times. So I’ve been there knocking on that door. I think we have a group of kids that’s good enough to knock that damn thing down.”

One of those 5 times, per Wilson, came in 2020 at Ohio State. The No. 3 Buckeyes lost 52-24 to a dominant Alabama squad after downing Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.
