Iowa guard Joe Toussaint has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to Verbal Commits. The news comes on the same day that Hawkeyes star Keegan Murray announced he was entering the NBA Draft.

Toussaint appeared in all 36 games for Iowa and made in 21 starts. He ended the year averaging 4.3 points and 3.2 assists per game. He played just over 17 minutes per contest.

Toussaint spent 3 seasons at Iowa and appeared in 98 games during his time with the program, making 41 starts. He totaled 471 points, dished out 279 assists, grabbed 114 rebounds and had 111 steals during that span.

During Iowa’s 26-10 season, Toussaint hit a double-digit point total twice. One of his top performances came in a win over Maryland. He totaled 9 points and dished out 9 assists in an 80-75 victory.

With the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver, Toussaint will still have 2 years of eligibility to use at his next destination.
