Nebraska looks like they will be down a player ahead of today’s game against Buffalo.

WR Omar Manning is out today with an apparent left leg injury in a walking boot.

Evan Bland of the Omaha World-Herald provides more context:

Manning, in two years at Nebraska, has not seen much of the field. He played sparingly for the Huskers last season.

This year, through 2 games,  with the team  he has 5 receptions for 80 yards on 16 yards per reception.

Manning was the No.2 player in the country coming out of JUCO. He was the No.1 WR out of JUCO and No.1 WR out of Texas in the class of 2020, according to 247sports composite rankings.

The Huskers have started the season 1-1; they lost the B1G Opener on the road two weeks ago against the Illinois Fighting Illini 30-22.

In the Huskers home opener, they defeated FCS opponent the Fordham Rams 52-7.

The Huskers face off with the Bulls at 3:30 ET on BTN.
