Kiandrea Barker is one of the top running back prospects in the country for the 2025 recruiting class. On Tuesday, he updated his recruitment with a top 5 list heading into the spring.
Out of the B1G, Barker kept Penn State in the mix. That is not too surprising considering the recent legacy of running backs for the Nittany Lions and the true freshmen seasons of Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen.
Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Florida State and Miami are the other programs to make Barker’s list.

Listed at 6-feet and 190 pounds out of The Woodlands High School in Texas, Barker is a 4-star prospect via 247 Sports. The publication also rates Barker as the No. 9 RB in the 2025 cycle and the 68th prospect in the country.
We’ll see how Barker’s recruitment shapes up, but he is a name to watch for 2025.
