The FCS season is coming to an end.
After delaying the football season from fall to spring, teams had a chance to participate in a shortened season and limited playoff field in order to compete for a national championship. Now, we’re down to the final two weekends of the year.
On Saturday, the semifinal round of the FCS playoffs will be held, and the two winners will compete for the national championship on Sunday, May 16. The kickoff times and broadcast information for the remaining three games has been released.
Here’s a look at the two matchups this weekend, as well as when the championship game will be played:
Saturday, May 8
Semifinal Game 1: Delaware vs. No. 1 South Dakota State, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Broadcast team: Matt Barrie, Mike Golic Jr., Katie George
Semifinal Game 2: No. 3 James Madison vs. No. 2 Sam Houston, 2:30 p.m. ET (ABC)
Broadcast team: Dave Pasch, Andre Ware, Kris Budden
Sunday, May 16
FCS Championship Game: Delaware/South Dakota St. vs. James Madison/Sam Houston, 2 p.m. ET (ABC)
Broadcast team: Dave Pasch, Andre Ware, Kris Budden
