Desmond King explains decision to return to Iowa in Instagram post

Desmond King made it official. He’ll be back in Iowa City in 2015.

On Monday night, the Daily Iowan reported that the Iowa cornerback came back from the Rose Bowl and told his mom that he decided to return for his senior year. The All-American junior said that he didn’t want to leave Iowa City on that note and that he wanted to earn his degree.

On Tuesday, King explained his decision with an Instagram post:

Feels good to finish my education and to be with my brothers for my senior year. There will be those that say my decision is wrong but it’s what’s best for me. Let’s make it a good one fellas????
