Kirk Cousins generates social media reaction with glorious new mustache

Published:
Kirk Cousins is entering his 6th season as the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. While he’s not active for Saturday’s preseason finale, that hasn’t stopped Cousins from setting off a reaction on social media.
Spotted on the sidelines during the game, Cousins was seen with a new — and thick — horseshoe-style mustache. To say the look is a new one for Cousins is an understatement, to say the least.
Cousins is traditionally low-key in style and dress, but it’s hard to not make a statement with a mustache as thick and bold as this. Fans and media alike reacted to the look and deviation from the norm for the Pro Bowl QB.

Based off what I remember the stache is called “The Cowboy” on Madden, so I think Kirk’s new nickname is “Cowboy Kirk” as long as he has the stache @Vikings @NFL @EAMaddenNFL https://t.co/8NCTYNkJ2W

Cousins had another productive season for the Vikings last year, including 8 come from behind wins for the team. We’ll see if the mustache turns into a good luck charm, provided he keeps it around for the regular season.
