Kirk Ferentz gave out an update for Iowa wideout Brody Brecht at the team’s weekly press conference. This is some good news for Brecht.
Brecht missed the Hawkeye’s last game against Purdue. Brecht has played in every game so far this season except for that one.
Ferentz stated that Brecht is going to be practicing this week and should be ready to play against Wisconsin. Brecht didn’t play at all last season because it was his redshirt year.
Ferentz: WR Brody Brecht is back practicing and should play.

Brecht was a former 3-star recruit from the 2021 class per the 247Sports Composite. The Ankeny, Iowa native chose the Hawkeyes over Iowa State, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State, and Nebraska.
After a slow start to the season, Ferentz has Iowa at 5-4 following wins over Northwestern and Purdue.
A battle with a surging Wisconsin team awaits the Hawkeyes in Week 11. Jim Leonhard also has the Badgers at 5-4 since taking over.
Kickoff from Iowa City will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
