Kirk Herbstreit is high on Ohio State after a 6-0 start to the season. Behind such a balanced offensive attack and a much-improved defense, the Buckeyes are rolling at an elite level.

Coming out of the weekend, Herbstreit took to social media with the one way he believes teams can try and attack the Ohio State offense. According to Herbstreit, it takes a superior defensive line in order to slow down the Buckeyes.

If a team doesn’t have a superior defensive line? “Hold onto your hat,” said Herbstreit.

Herbstreit definitely has a point about the matchup in the trenches. Last season, it was Michigan in particular that disrupted Ohio State’s offensive attack with the pass rush of Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo.

This season, the Buckeyes have also maintained better balance offensively and are attacking teams on the ground and through the air. Ohio State is currently averaging over 540 yards of offense in a game with 228 of those coming on the ground. The Buckeyes are also averaging 6 yards per carry.

We’ll see if there’s a defense capable of stepping up against Ohio State.
