There’s a monster clash today in Iowa City, IA., between 2 of the B1G’s best.
No. 4 Penn State heads on the road to take on No. 3 Iowa in a battle of undefeated teams.
The College GameDay crew has been talking about Penn State and Iowa all morning. Kirk Herbstreit gave his take on the key to Iowa winning this game:
“So Iowa this year, what have they been doing? They’ve been winning the turnover margin,” Herbstreit said. “They’ve been giving their offense a short field, better than anybody in the country and that will have to continue today vs. Penn State.”
Iowa is No. 1 in the country in the turnover margin. The Hawkeyes are +12 on the season in that department.
Penn State’s QB Sean Clifford has 11 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions this season for the Nittany Lions. Clifford will need to play as well as he has been playing if the Nittany Lions want to come out of Kinnick with a win today.
Both teams are 5-0 and are the 2 best teams in the B1G this season. The Nittany Lions and the Hawkeyes are both undefeated in conference play as well.
No. 4 Penn State invades Kinnick Stadium to take on No. 3 Iowa in a B1G Clash at 4:00 ET on FOX.
