Former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback and ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has revealed his top 4 after the impact of Week 5 of the 2022 season. Herbstreit has Ohio State at No. 1 and Michigan at No. 4.

It is not a surprise to see Herbstreit give more love to his alma mater in the rankings, but there is some justification there. Ohio State is coming off a huge 49-10 home win over Rutgers with a five-touchdown rushing performance from running back Miyan Williams.
No. 1 Georgia nearly came out of the road game versus the Missouri Tigers with a loss as the Bulldogs held on for a 26-22 win. Missouri forced two turnovers from Georgia, but the Bulldogs accounted for 14 points in the fourth quarter.
Michigan won its fifth win of the season with an impressive 27-14 road win over Iowa. The Wolverines were able to rush for 172 rushing yards against the highly efficient defense of Iowa.
