With some wild results in the eleventh week of the college football season, Kirk Herbstreit has revamped his top six rankings.
No. 17 Minnesota knocked of No. 4 Penn State and No. 2 LSU defeated No. 3 Alabama to shake some things up in the College Football Playoff picture. And after the weekend, Herbstreit now has a very different top six with following the weekend.
Herbstreit has three SEC teams, two B1G teams and Clemson in his latest rankings:
- LSU (9-0)
- Ohio State (9-0)
- Clemson (10-0)
- Georgia (8-1)
- Alabama (8-1)
- Minnesota (9-0)
Missing from that list is Oklahoma (8-1) and Baylor (9-0). Penn State (8-1), would also not be in the mix. You could probably make a case for all three of those teams, as well as Oregon (8-1).
We’ll see what the College Football Playoff selection committee says on Tuesday.
