Jayden Reed was a big reason why Michigan State beat Nebraska last week.
His performance is getting national recognition.
The Spartans wide receiver was named one of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s top performers of Week 4. He was ranked 4th behind Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks, Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams and Texas quarterback Casey Thompson.

Reed had 2 touchdowns in the game, but the biggest was when he took a Nebraska punt 60 yards to a house on a well-designed trick play with 3:47 left in the game. Michigan State had a decoy returner on the field in Jordan Nailor, and he baited the Cornhuskers defense into running to him instead of Reed.
The touchdown swung the momentum Michigan State’s way and tied the game at 20 apiece. Nebraska forced overtime, but the Spartans came out on top after a 21-yard field goal by Matt Coghlin in OT.
None of it happens without Reed’s punt return.
