Not many around college football believe in Nebraska upsetting Oklahoma on Saturday, and that includes Kirk Herbstreit.

Herbstreit is down on the Cornhuskers’ chances of playing with the Sooners as they don’t have the equal firepower to go blow for blow with them.

He spoke about this at length on College GameDay this morning and even added that the Sooners defense is going to take this game personally.

“I don’t think they have the guns to stay with Rattler. Adrian Martinez, he’s got to avoid imploding. This OU defense is taking it personally after the response from the way they played against Tulane. They’re going to be aggressive today in coming after Martinez, making him throw to win the game. Or even compete, not win.”

The Cornhuskers come into this matchup after back-to-back wins, but it wasn’t against the best competition. They beat Buffalo and Fordham after losing their Week 1 contest to Illinois.

We’ll have to see if the Cornhuskers can turn their game up a notch when kickoff happens at Noon ET.
