Ohio State didn’t start great against TCU, but the Buckeyes finished the game on an absolute tear.

The Horned Frogs controlled much of the action in the first half and carried a small lead into the break of Saturday’s game. It looked like the Buckeyes were struggling, but those struggles didn’t last for long.

Ohio State scored 27 points after halftime to pull out a 40-28 win over TCU. It was an impressive and gutsy performance that gave the Buckeyes a key, non-conference win early in the season.

One of the driving forces behind the win was none other than QB Dwayne Haskins. Haskins threw for 344 yards and two second-half touchdowns on 24-for-38 passing. He also added eight yards rushing and another score on the ground that helped seal the win.

Following the remarkable win and second half performance, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit listed Ohio State as the third-most impressive team performance of the weekend. Herbstreit also selected Haskins as the most impressive individual performance from Week 3.

It may have been a tough week for the B1G, but Ohio State certainly came through against TCU.
