Some B1G teams and players appeared in Kirk Herbstreit’s top performers from Week 5, he tweeted Monday.
Michigan appeared in a 6-way tie for Herbstreit’s top performing team with Georgia, Alabama, Cincinnati, Stanford and Kentucky. The entire Iowa defense (is that a cop-out?) tied for Herbstreit’s top performing player and Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud checked in at No. 6. Finally, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was Herbstreit’s No. 2 performing coach of the week.
Here’s how the rest of the rankings shook out:

Michigan had a huge week against Wisconsin, defeating the Badgers 38-17 at Camp Randall Stadium to spoil Barry Alvarez Day. Cade McNamara made some big strides in the passing game, completing 17 of 28 passes for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns in the effort.
Stroud turned in more big numbers in his first game back after nursing a shoulder injury in Week 4. He threw for 330 yards on 17-of-23 passing and 5 touchdowns in Ohio State’s 52-13 blowout of Rutgers at SHI Stadium.
