Add Kirk Herbstreit to the growing list of people who believe Scott Frost is going to resurrect the Nebraska football program.
Frost’s success at UCF has translated to an incredible amount of hype back in Lincoln, now that he’ll be patrolling the sidelines at Memorial Stadium. Earlier this week, Stewart Mandel and Bruce Feldman both stated that they believe Frost will have the Huskers competing for a B1G title and potentially a spot in the College Football Playoff within the next three-to-five years.
Friday, Herbstreit sent out a tweet complimenting Frost for how he handled his first appearance at B1G Media Days. Below is the tweet the ESPN analyst sent:
Rewatching the @B1Gfootball media day coaches pressers. Has there ever been a coach more representative of his school and program than @coach_frost at @HuskerFBNation?!? Excited to see him bring Huskers back to being a powerhouse year in and year out. #AllBusiness

It’s been awhile since the Huskers have been a powerhouse in the college football world. And winning at a high level on a yearly basis has been a tough accomplishment recently.
But Herbstreit believes that type of success is coming for Nebraska with Frost at the helm.
