KJ Parker, elite ATH out of Illinois, announces B1G commitment

KJ Parker couldn’t wait for his announced commitment date of July 1, and the 3-star athlete out of Elmhurst, Ilinois (Immaculate Conception) has announced a commitment to play in the B1G.
Parker, who is listed at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, committed to Iowa after he was recruited by linebackers coach Seth Wallace and wide receivers coach Kelton Copeland. Parker has a reported 10 offers, and chose Iowa over Cincinnati. Parker made an official visit to Iowa in the last week.
He’s projected to play slot receiver for Iowa and was reportedly the top target for the Hawkeyes at that position. Parker is the second wide receiver commit in Iowa’s 2024 class after Central Lyon/George-Little Rock 3-star wide receiver Reece Vander Zee in this class from last weekend.
Iowa now has 16 commitments. Parker is the No. 117 ranked athlete from the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 23 player from the state of Illinois.
