Kobee Minor played through temperature of ‘108’ in strong showing vs. Marvin Harrison Jr., per father

On Thursday August 31 Tom Allen told reporters that Kobee Minor, a defensive back transfer from Texas Tech, would be relied on to slow down Ohio State’s impressive group of pass-catchers.
Indiana lost that game, 23-3. But it wasn’t on account of Minor, who held superstar receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to just 2 receptions and 18 yards with 0 touchdowns. Minor finished with 6 tackles and 1 pass deflection.
But on Monday his father, Darryl, posted on social media that Minor played his incredible game against MHJ despite dealing with a temperature of 108.

Now, 108 is a full 10 degrees higher than a human’s body temperature should be. It seems downright irresponsible to have allowed Minor to play through that if head coaches were aware, so it’s fair to assume that number may be slightly exaggerated.
Regardless, holding Harrison to those numbers is impressive when feeling 100%, too.
Indiana looks to add to the win column this Saturday when Indiana State comes to town. The Hoosiers and Sycamores will face off at 7 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
