Kofi Cockburn, Marcus Carr post solid performances early at G League Elite Camp

Two former B1G stars were in action Sunday and looking to boost their stock for the NBA Draft.
Illinois big man Kofi Cockburn and Minnesota point guard Marcus Carr were in action Sunday for game two of the G League Elite Camp. The camp provides an opportunity for draft hopefuls to work out and play in front of teams and scouts.
Playing on opposite sides, Cockburn and Carr both had solid showings in the game. In particular, Cockburn impressed NBA Draft analyst Jonathan Givony early with his physical nature, work in the pick-and-roll, and his high motor.

In just over 18 minutes played, Cockburn finished with 13 points on 6-for-10 shooting to go with six rebounds, a steal, and two blocks. He did struggle from the free-throw line and also added two turnovers.
For Carr, he was able to put his scoring ability on display. He shot 8-for-15 from the floor with four made three-pointers. Carr added two rebounds and five assists while finishing with a game-best +12.
