Kwazi Gilmer, 4-star 2024 WR, announces B1G commitment

Kwazi Gilmer is staying in California. The blue-chip wideout announced his commitment to UCLA on Friday.

Gilmer picked up scholarship offers from 17 schools during his recruitment. For Friday’s big announcement, he narrowed things down to UCLA, Washington, Michigan State and Oklahoma. He verbally pledged to Chip Kelly’s program live on YouTube, sharing an epic commitment video in which he remakes a classic LeBron James Nike commercial.

A Sierra Canyon standout, Gilmer is listed as measuring 6-2, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Gilmer is rated 4-stars, the No. 19 player in the state of California, No. 30 wide receiver and No. 196 prospect overall in the Class of 2024. He spent time at UCLA in May.
