Kwazi Gilmer is interested in a B1G school after posting his top six on social media Sunday. Gilmer is a native of Chatsworth, California.
Out of the six schools Gilmer put on his list, Michigan State is the only one from B1G country. The other schools are Stanford, Cal, Washington, UCLA, and Oklahoma.

The 247Sports Composite lists Gilmer as a 4-star WR from the 2024 class. Gilmer attends Sierra Canyon and comes in at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Gilmer is ranked as the No. 43 WR and No. 26 prospect in his state.
The Spartans are currently the only B1G school to have sent Gilmer an offer. Gilmer would be the first receiver to commit to Michigan State from the 2024 class if he chooses to go to East Lansing. Mel Tucker’s 2024 class includes two 4-star commits and two 3-star commits so far.
Michigan State missed out on a bowl game after finishing with a 5-7 record in 2022. The Spartans won 11 games in 2021 and capped things off with a win over Pitt in the Peach Bowl.
With the majority of Gilmer’s top schools on the west coast, it may be hard for Tucker to persuade the 2024 prospect to leave the area. It looks Gilmer will have a tough decision to make when it comes to his future.
