Class of 2024 guard Labaron Philon included Michigan in his top 8 teams, he announced Monday via Twitter.
The rest of his top 8 included Alabama, Michigan, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kansas, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Philon is a 4-star according to 247Sports, and is No. 40 player in the nation for the class of 2024. He is also the No. 5 point guard and the top player in Alabama for his class. Philon is a Mobile, Alabama, native.
Michigan already has one point guard commit for the class of 2024 in Christian Anderson from Georgia. The Wolverines have the No. 7 overall recruiting class.
Michigan is coming of a 19-15 season ago where it had a Sweet 16 run with an upset wins over Colorado State and Tennessee before losing to Villanova.
