Chris Ash wants to establish a competitive culture at Rutgers, similar to the one he was a part of at Ohio State.
We’ve already seen dance-offs and arm-wrestling competitions from the Scarlet Knights this offseason.
What about some hoops?
During a team meeting, Ash took on senior Quanzell Lambert in a little one-on-one. Somehow, Ash held his own and got a stop against the 260-pound defensive lineman:

It’s clear that Ash is feeling confident, but not just because of his defensive stand. He got six 2017 commitments in the past five days, which moved his class up to No. 3 in the B1G and No. 16 in the country.
Everything appears to be going Ash’s way these days.
