Exhaustion might be at an all-time high for Indiana’s basketball team.
After defeating Wyoming 66-58 in a First Four game in Dayton, the Hoosiers were scheduled to fly out to Portland, Ore. for their Round of 64 matchup against No. 5 seed St. Mary’s. Plane issues delayed the team’s travel plans, though.
Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star reported that Indiana’s flight took off a little after 4 a.m. ET Wednesday morning. This comes after IU had a 9:30 p.m. tip-off time against Wyoming on Tuesday night.
The Hoosiers wound up taking off a little after 4 a.m. Per flight tracking information, they’re still in the air. They’ll land in Portland within the hour, and have less than 36 hours turnaround time before playing Saint Marys tomorrow. #iubb
