Purdue has revealed the latest results from its regular COVID-19 screenings.
On Friday, the school’s athletic department provided an update to the testing numbers among student-athletes, coaches and staff. According to Gold & Black Illustrated’s Tom Dienhart, Purdue has administered 573 tests and has received a total of 35 positive cases.
Of that total, only eight cases are still active. At this time, nobody has been hospitalized from the virus. There was no further breakdown among student-athletes, coaches or staff.

Purdue’s athletic department first began testing individuals on June 8, when it began welcoming student-athletes, coaches and staff members back on campus. The most recent round of testing was concluded on July 30.
Purdue has continued to regularly update the results of its testing on campus.
