Lee Corso is absent from Saturday’s first ever show in Lawrence, Kansas. College GameDay is without its iconic analyst for the second straight week.

It was a surprising absence from last weeks show after he felt under the weather, and now viewers won’t get to see his famous headgear pick again this week.

The 87-year-old has been a staple of the show since its inception in 1987, and the show doesn’t feel quite the same without him. The analysts on desk honored Corso on set, and they said that he poked some fun at the sickness.

“At one point he told the doctors, ‘yeah I feel this way because I said Clemson was overrated,” host Rece Davis said.

Kirk Herbstreit said that Corso should be back for next week’s show, wherever that may be. Corso missed last week’s show after waking up with some dizziness
