Bill Snyder has had a long, successful career as a head coach at the college level. And his run will last another five years after the legendary coach inked an extension with Kansas State on Thursday.

Kansas State announced that Snyder had agreed to a five-year extension with the school, keeping him at the helm in Manhattan through the 2022 season.

Snyder is scheduled to make $3.45 million in the 2018 season and will receive $300,000 pay increases in 2019 and 2020. He has coached at Kansas State for 27.

In his coaching career, Snyder has accumulated 210 wins and led the Wildcats to 19 bowl games. He’s also won two Big XII titles in his career.

Last year, Kansas State finished the season with an 8-5 record, winning five of its final six games, including an upset win over Oklahoma State.
