Penn State’s Sean Clifford is locked in and playing very well in his final game as a Nittany Lion. After a slow start, Clifford led 2 strong scoring drives and has looked good while doing so as Penn State is tied with Utah 14-14 at halftime.

Clifford enters halftime having thrown for 146 yards and 1 touchdown on 12 of 15 completed passes. His most impressive drive of the afternoon so far was his scoring drive that ended in a Mitchell Tinsley touchdown. He was 4/5 on the drive and delivered a couple beautiful balls under some pressure. Utah QB Cam Rising is sitting at 81 total yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception through the first half.

Check out the throw from the 6th-year senior. This is Tinsley’s 5th touchdown of the season.

Clifford and the Penn State offense will be in for a long one Monday evening. Utah is matching the Nittany Lions on offense and, despite a slower start, this could turn into a barnburner quick.

Social media reacted to Clifford’s hot start Monday evening at the Rose Bowl.
