Clever newspaper headlines are always great when used right. And after Ohio State’s 55-24 loss to Iowa, a clever headline captured the nation’s attention.

“Woodshed, IA 52242” was a headline that ran in the Cedar Rapids Gazette Sunday morning that captured just how dominant the Hawkeyes were against the Buckeyes.

Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley had the best performance of his young career completing 64.5 percent of his passes for 226 yards and five touchdowns. In fact, in the last 20 years, he is only quarterback to threw for five scores and zero interceptions against the Buckeyes. And then on defense, the Hawkeyes picked off Ohio State signal caller J.T. Barrett four times. So yes, Iowa did take Ohio State behind the woodshed in this game.

Also, here is Iowa fun fact for you guys: Woodshed, Iowa is an actual town in the state.
