If you have to get married on a gameday, why not make a special trip to your favorite team’s stadium? That’s exactly what one newlywed couple decided to do.
Saturday afternoon, Nebraska improved to 2-6 on the season with an impressive 45-9 win over Bethune-Cookman. A few hours later, some dedicated Huskers fans tied the knot at Memorial Stadium.
Or at least it was the location of a few very special pictures.
Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald captured a photo of the bridal party, which lined up in an offensive formation, likely for a memorable wedding photo. What better place than right in the middle of Memorial Stadium?

Everyone likes to give a lot flack for couples who plan fall weddings. It seems like these happy newlyweds opted to wait until after the Nebraska game ended.
The probably had some very appreciative guests, especially since the Huskers picked up a win.
