When Wayne State takes the field against Saginaw Valley on Saturday, it’ll be sporting something incredibly special.
Thursday, the DII program revealed the uniforms it will wear for this weekend’s game, which is commemorating 100 years of athletics at the school. Wayne State will be sporting an American flag patterned jersey which pays tribute to the military. But that’s not all.
On the back of the uniform will be the names of Medal of Honor winners.

That’s a really cool way to celebrate 100 years of athletics and it’s certainly a touching tribute to the military.
