If you’re trying to find Ross-Ade Stadium on Google Maps, you might have a difficult time. Apparently, the app has changed the named of Purdue’s football Stadium.
The change? Nutcracker Stadium.
We’ll wait a few minutes while you catch your breath from laughter.
As you can see below, Google Maps changed the name of Ross-Ade Stadium to Nutcracker Stadium following Purdue’s 49-20 win over Ohio State on Saturday evening. The Boilermakers have defeated the Buckeyes in West Lafayette five teams since 2000, so the name is kind of fitting.

The name change is hilarious and incredibly appropriate considering the trouble the Buckeyes have had at “Nutcracker Stadium” over the last several seasons.
Purdue has also won three of the last four meetings against Ohio State at Ross-Ade Stadium. Saturday’s win marked the first victory over a top five opponent for Purdue since 1999.
It was the first win over a top two team since 1984.
