Outside of Michigan, Ohio State is the biggest game of the year for Michigan State. The Buckeyes come into East Lansing with an 8-1 record and a top-10 spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, serving as an opportunity for the Spartans to not only improve to 7-3, but shatter any chance OSU has of playing for a national championship in 2018.
You’d think that Spartan Stadium would be totally packed, loud and intimidating as soon as the doors were open. That’s not the case; at least not in the student section:
