Minnesota will be paying tribute to several things this Saturday when hosting Maryland in the B1G opener for both teams.

Earlier this week, it was announced the Gophers would be having  a Salute to Service Members Day and would also honor the 50th anniversary of the 1967 B1G championship team at TCF Bank Stadium Saturday. On Thursday, the official Twitter account of Minnesota football released the helmet that will honor both.

And it’s a pretty awesome look:

The 1967 Minnesota team donned white helmets during its 8-2 championship season. Along the middle stripe, there will be patriotic symbols honoring the military.

Minnesota enters this weekend’s contest at 3-0 and is a two-touchdown favorite against the Terrapins. The game is schedule to kickoff at 12:00 p.m. ET and will air on FS1.
