The Minnesota Golden Gophers’ new David and Janis Larson Football Performance Center and indoor practice facility is taking shape.
The new complex is scheduled to be completed in the winter of 2018. However, media were given a tour today to see where the project is currently.
According to Big Ten Network’s, coach P.J. Fleck will have a corner office on the fourth floor of the new building overseeing the practice field.

One floor below Fleck’s office, will be the new locker room. The room will feature 120 lockers and will have stairs outside leading down to the new practice field.

Now, the new indoor practice facility will be much larger than the last for Minnesota. The new indoor facility will be 85 feet at the peak, which is 20 feet taller than the previous one.

With new facilities taking shape along with energetic coach in Fleck, it seems like the Golden Gophers’ football program has a bright future in front of them.
