LOOK: Northwestern Football calls out doubters on Twitter following upset of MSU

It looks like the Wildcats will have the last laugh Saturday.

Northwestern has seen a bit of a rough skid after beginning the season with a win over Purdue. The Wildcats were 1-3 coming into Saturday’s game after a loss to Akron and a heart-breaking loss to Michigan. After building a 17-0 lead against the Wolverines, Michigan battled back to avoid the upset last weekend.

As a result, Northwestern entered Saturday’s game against Michigan State desperate for a win. Nevertheless, not many people gave the Wildcats a shot at pulling off the upset. Chris “The Bear” Fallica picked the Spartans to win as did the rest of the College GameDay crew.

Well, Northwestern started strong and battled back late to pull off the 29-19 win in impressive fashion. Northwestern Football did not forget its doubters, taking time to tweet out screenshots of those who picked against the Wildcats Saturday:

After going through a bit of a rough stretch, this win has to be a bit sweeter for Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats.
