Offensive lineman’s play typically get overlooked because every college football fan wants to rave about the skill players. This situation could definitely be applied to Ohio State left tackle Jamarco Jones’ play.
The talk of the town when it comes to the Buckeyes’ offense this year has either been freshman running back J.K. Dobbins or quarterback J.T. Barrett. However, with out Jones, neither of Dobbins or Barrett’s play would be as impressive. Especially Barrett’s.
Ohio State LT Jamarco Jones has allowed just 1 QB pressure in 155 snaps in pass protection this season.

On the year, Jones has only allowed one, yes one quarterback pressure in 155 snaps in pass protection this season. That is highly impressive. So Barrett and the rest of the Ohio State team should be thanking Jones for his solid protection this year.
