B1G weather has officially set in.

A bit of a winter storm hit the Chicago area on Friday, coating Northwestern’s campus, including Ryan Field, with that white, powdery snow. A little over 24 hours until kickoff, ESPN tweeted out a video of the field which is suppose to host Purdue and Northwestern Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET.

It looks more like a snow globe than a football stadium right now:

The snow likely won’t be a factor for Saturday night’s showdown between the Boilermakers and Wildcats. Not only does Northwestern have more than a day to clear the surface, the temperature in the Chicago area is expected to be in the high-30s to low-40s, which should melt at least some of the snow.

B1G country in November. Gotta love it, don’t ya?
