Northwestern University has several notable sports journalism alumni.
Guys like J.A. Adande (formerly of ESPN), Rich Eisen (NFL Network), Jon Heyman (MLB Network insider) and many more have graduated from Northwestern. And one of the Wildcats’ most notable sports journalism alumni will be an honorary captain for the team the season opener.
During Northwestern’s season opener against the Nevada Wolfpack, ESPN Sports Business reporter Darren Rovell will be an honorary captain.
