Week 1 hasn’t come to a close yet, but practically every game has concluded.

For Week 2, ESPN’s College GameDay has already announced where it’s heading. The crew is going to Austin, Texas for the showdown between No. 6 LSU and No. 10 Texas.

Despite the game being nearly a week away, the two teams — which have both begun the 2019 season 1-0 overall — are already talking trash.

Well, realistically, Texas is starting it:

There are a number of schools that claim to be “DB U.” Texas has a case, as does LSU. Ohio State has made the claim before as well. Essentially, if you’re a national power, you pride yourself on something. Even teams that may not be considered powerhouses have their calling card.

Wisconsin and Iowa will always pride themselves on their offensive lines and other teams have considerable talent at given positions each year as well.

Again, Texas is poking the bear (or Tiger) here. Is it right? Is it wrong? There’s no real answer. But, one thing is for sure.

Both teams will be wanting to demolish the other one come Saturday night.
